Q: Why do I need a professional business copywriter?
A: One word: continuity.  Well-written, on target text acts as an instant branding vehicle.  Writing free of grammar and spelling errors is just the beginning; writing also has to convey your main idea, whether it’s a featured product or service or a recent condominium opening.  You get the idea.  Perhaps best of all, as a professional business copywriter, the Florida BizScribe will consistently provide focused writing to make you and your business look smart and creative.  Call it a great first impression – on paper.

Q: How do I know if I need press releases written about my company?
A: At this moment, do you have as many customers, and as much success, as you’ll ever want or need?  Public relations techniques keep you in the forefront – and may get you on the front page.  Such increased visibility leads to consumer interest.  Anytime you release a new product, hire a new associate, win an industry award or do anything else notable, you should develop and disseminate a well-written press release.  Journalists encounter a sea of such releases every day; the BizScribe knows the tricks to get your release noticed.

Q: What’s all this talk about “optimization,” and how can it help my business?
A: One of my business copywriting specialties is website and press release optimization, which utilizes key words and/or phrases to increase the chances of publication.  In today’s digital world, computer search engines and press wires skim text for key terms.  To have a better chance of their text being noticed, writers have begun incorporating these terms into press release and website copy.  Through a sophisticated optimization program, I identify key words unique to each industry, and then seamlessly weave them through text.

Q: How does the BizScribe business copywriting process work?
A: I’m as flexible as an old-school Gumby toy.  Let’s take it step by step.  Here’s how the contracting process usually works:
STEP ONE: You contact me, and we set up an initial appointment.  We can “meet” either in person or over the phone.
STEP TWO: We iron out the details of your project.  BizScribe employment terms are open for interpretation; although I work on an hourly basis for most general editing and re-writing, I’ll also quote per project or work on retainer.
STEP THREE: It’s time to begin!  During project and retainer situations, I supply weekly updates to clients and am available for in-person strategy meetings as well as brainstorming sessions.

Q: What about actual website coding or brochure design?
A: There’s a reason I didn’t name my company BizMarketCodeScribe.  It’s a mouthful.  Plus, it’s not my modus operandi.  I know my strengths, and they don’t include graphics.  Instead, I work with dedicated professionals to complete the entire scope of a project.  Graphic artists, website designers and advertising consultants are on my speed-dial.  I’ll put the entire project together for you – or I’ll work with your in-house team to develop the text you need.  A quick FYI: just because your website designer can blend your company logo beautifully with a background, that doesn’t mean they should write the website text.  Call me.
